For a wooden ramp to be installed, first you need to find a local carpenter who knows the correct angle for the rise of your application. Many times they will build what the consumers are requesting which may not be safe. Consumers usually assume they need less length creating a possible unsafe slope ratios. Also wooden ramps may be considered permanent modifications to the home and may require a building permit.
